Glastonbury Public Schools has partnered with ParentSquare for district, school, and class communications. For the 2024-2025 school year, teachers will be expected to use ParentSquare for the majority of their parent/guardian communications. This will help you to find all the communications you receive from Glastonbury Public Schools in one convenient place.
New to the District
Families new to the district will receive an email inviting them to register in ParentSquare.
In the summer, these invites will be sent in early August.
Setting up ParentSquare
If you haven’t yet done so, we encourage you to:
Download the ParentSquare app.
Personalize your communication preferences. This can help you manage the many communications our district sends.
Choose emails, texts, and/or app notifications
Choose immediate delivery or a daily summary at 6 pm
Choose English or another language
Your preferences will be overridden for emergency or time-sensitive notices.
Trouble with your account?
Please send an email to InfoUpdate@Glastonburyus.org. Be sure to include your name, email, phone number, and student name/s and school/s. You will be notified when your account has been corrected.

Receive district, school, and classroom communications in one place

In addition to routine information, the notification system will also be used for absence alerts to notify parents when their child is marked absent from school.

ParentSquare Preferences
Set preferences
On a computer: Click your name, select My Account, and review/select your notification and language settings.
On the mobile app: Click the menu (3 bars), select Account, and review/select your notification and language settings.
Select your delivery method
Email. Receive your notifications via email and interact with ParentSquare from the web-based portal.
Mobile Apps. Receive push notifications and interact with ParentSquare from the mobile app or the web-based portal.
Text Messages. You can receive text notifications and interact with ParentSquare from the web-based portal.
Please note that these settings may be overridden for important alerts.

Your ParentSquare Account
How do I sign up for ParentSquare?
Automatic invitations will be emailed to parents and guardians. You can also set up your account without an invitation by visiting parentsquare.com/signin. The email address/phone number you enter must match the contact details the school district has for you. If your contact details aren't recognized, email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org for assistance.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
First check your ParentSquare account to make sure your email address is correct. Please check your spam. Mark any ParentSquare messages in spam as "Not Spam." Also add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts so your server recognizes our messages. If you still are not receiving emails, please email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org to check the district's record for your email address. You may also contact support@parentsquare.com so they can assist you. Click here for troubleshooting details.
If you are seeing posts for one of your children but not another, you may have a duplicate account or inconsistent contact information for your children. Please email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org for assistance. Be sure to include:
Your name
Preferred email and phone number to be used in ParentSquare
Other emails or phone numbers possibly associated with your account
Student name(s)
School(s)
How do I change my password?
Visit the parentsquare.com/signin page and click "Forgot Password." Put in your email or phone number and you will be sent a link to reset your password. The ParentSquare help page for directions to change or reset your password on a web browser or in the Parentsquare app provides detailed instructions.
How can I receive fewer notifications?
Adjust your notification settings. You can control the method —email, text, app notification and the frequency—immediate or a daily digest at 6 pm.
On a computer: Click your name, select My Account, select your notification and language settings.
On the mobile app: Click the menu (3 bars), select Account, select your notification and language settings.
How do I add a missing student/school?
If you are missing a child/school, it may be because:
Your contact information is inconsistent across the schools' student information systems.
You have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.
Action if one account:
Email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org. to update your contact information. Ensure you have the same email and phone number on file for all children and all schools.
Your account will be corrected when we sync the updates overnight.
Action if multiple accounts:
Email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org. to update your contact information. Ensure you have the same email and phone number on file for all children and all schools.
Delete your ParentSquare user account(s) that does not have the correct email address (choose “Delete” when accessing your account in ParentSquare).
Your account will be corrected when we sync the updates overnight.
How do I combine/merge accounts
Parents may want to combine accounts, especially if they are also a staff person in the district. Please refer to this ParentSquare Combine/Merge Accounts page for detailed instructions.
How do I fix or update my contact info?
Email infoupdate@glastonburyus.org. to update your contact information. Be sure to include:
Your name
Preferred email and phone number to be used in ParentSquare
Other emails or phone numbers possibly associated with your account
Student name(s)
School(s)
Once the change is made in our district system, it will sync overnight to ParentSquare.
I am not a parent. How do I unsubscribe?
We apologize. Sometimes an error or typo in our district's system can lead to incorrect data that matches another person's phone number or email. Please email InfoUpdate@Glastonburyus.org for assistance. Be sure to include your phone number and email so we can remove you from the system.
How do I verify a landline phone number?
ParentSquare doesn't manage landlines, so there is no need to verify. If asked to verify the phone number, click Skip for Now.
