On Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm the Glastonbury Town Council will discuss the need for air conditioning our schools and whether to send the issue to public referendum this November. Air conditioning our schools is necessary in order to provide an appropriate learning environment for our students and working environment for our staff. It is a top priority for our Board of Education and school administration. There will be an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of the meeting. At the previous Town Council meeting, on June 28th, consultants hired by the town presented air conditioning options to the Town Council.
