At the January 11th Board of Education meeting, the Board voted to adopt a $102,122,911 education budget for the 2016-17 school year. This represents a 2.89% increase over the current year's budget. On February 8th the Board of Finance voted to recommend a $981,000 reduction to this budget. The Town Council will vote on the final budget on March 22nd at 7 pm. The Board welcomes and encourages citizen input on its budget.
